Robbie studied Cinematography at the Amsterdam Film School, Netherlands. After graduating, he started shooting documentaries and after a couple of years he discovered that his passion for features, series and commercials became bigger. The shift from shooting documentaries to commercials till helps being inventive and makes his “look" some sort of magic-realistic.
Robbie won a Gold ADCN Lamp in 2020 and a Silver ADCN lamp in 2018 for best Cinematography at the Dutch Advertising Festival. He is a member of the Netherlands Society of Cinematographers (NSC).
